Antelope Hunting Mask

- This horned antelope mask is carved from a single piece of wood then stained. Carved antelope horns extend from the top of the mask. The mask is covered with cowrie shells except for the horns, ears, eyes, and nostrils. Hunting masks are associated with ceremonies and have religious and social significance. The mask is well preserved and is in excellent condition.
