- NCMNS Contentnea Creek offers a variety of kayaking experiences during the spring, summer, and autumn months. Located in Grifton adjacent to the Contentnea Creek, there are a variety of wetlands and water ways to explore. From easy paddles in a shallow pond for beginners to long excursions down the Contentnea Creek for a more experienced paddlers. All rentals include life jackets, paddles. Reservations are subject to availability.
