How does the 3D printing process work?
The 3D printing process works as follows:
- You submit your request.
- We will analyze your request to ensure that we can print the file and determine any costs related to the request.
- We will then contact you (and your department's budget officer if needed) with a link to Ustore for payment.
- We will print the request after receiving payment.
-
We will then notify you that your object is ready for pickup. Objects can be picked up during our operating hours at our second floor service desk.
- Please note that our service desk may not be staffed during all of our operating hours.
How much does the 3D printing service cost?
The cost of your request will depend on the type and amount of filament needed for your object.
How long will it take for my request to be fulfilled?
We will provide you with an estimated printing time along with your price, and it will then be printed in a first-come-first-serve order.
