Members of the Class of 1916 are pictured here in front of the Administration Building. In addition to a trip to Raleigh and staging an outdoor production of Richard Brinsley Sheridan’s play, The Rivals, this class had the opportunity to witness Helen Keller on campus. Keller, accompanied by Anne Sullivan Macy, her companion, teacher, and interpreter, appeared before a large crowd in the auditorium of the Administration Building, May 1, 1916.
