Partial contents Foreword by Gerhardt Knodel -- Essay by H.L. Hix -- Reminiscences by Kyoung Ae Cho -- Reminiscences (Korean language version).
Abstract The work of Kyoung Ae Cho is informed by two disparate worlds: a richly nuanced biological world with accessible evolving patterns of growth, and a complex, diverse realm of digital information that continues to expand exponentially. Kyoung Ae Cho came to the United States from Korea with a wealth of traditional textile making skills and curiosity as to how they might function in a foreign environment. On arrival she chose to put aside the materials brought with her from Korea and focus instead on objects grown on native American soil: twigs, seed pods, and pine needles.
