Abstract This book was prepared to make relevant information on voice and voice disorders in a convenient and affordable form. It is one of three student editions comprised of chapters selected from the third edition of the author's Professional Voice: The Science and Art of Clinical Care. The chapters in each edition, written by a multidisciplinary who's who of voice scientists, diagnosticians, and voice treatment specialists, were selected for their relevance to speech-language pathology students and clinicians. Each edition retains the four-color photographs and the comprehensive glossary from the original.
