Abstract During the 1970's, the FBI conducted a high-level investigation of public corruption and organized crime, code-named ABSCAM. This investigation resulted in the arrest and conviction of a senator, six congressmen, and additional public officials. ABSCAM generated considerable controversy relating to the government's undercover operations and entrapment issues. This material is a collection of the public's response to the FBI's investigation.
