Abstract The Beatles, a "British Pop Musical group," received an extortion threat while they were performing in Denver, Colorado on August 26, 1964. They were directed to cancel their appearance or grenades would be thrown at the group. (During this time, John Lennon, was the subject of an immigration appeal.) In addition, various "Beatles" references are made within several FBIHQ main files concerning other subject matters.
