| Abstract | The purpose of this book is to present the rudiments of drumming concisely, thoroughly and effectively. The guidance presented herein will lead to a high degree of proficiency in less time and with less conscious effort. The value of this book lies in a new, systematic order of twenty six rudiments of drumming. They form a "vocabulary" of the art of drumming, and with an attempt at completeness, embrace the drummer's technique "from A to Z". The rudiments are divided into related groups, each rudiment and each group following in an orderly manner. This logical sequence of the rudiments of drumming leads the student progressively and authoritatively from simple elements to intricate combinations. |
