| Abstract | It was almost nine, and the stagehands, director and actors on the set of Naughty Marietta were awaiting the arrival of the leading lady. The night before, she had walked out to go see a movie, and shooting had had to stop early; everyone was getting edgy. Soon six stagehands dragged a large white doghouse onto the set.
