Abstract Wolfgang Wagner, in his 50-year-long career, was a driving force behind "Neu Bayreuth", the new Bayreuth that was founded by Wolfgang and his brother Wieland in 1951. The book is composed of a collection of essays, each written by someone who had worked closely with Wolfgang at one time or another.
