General note"Regulations. 1. Every member of the Sabbath School or Sabbath School Society who complies with these rules has a right to receive a book from the library every Sabbath. 2. Each book shall be charged by the librarian to the person taking it. 3. All books must be returned within two weeks after they are taken. 4. No person shall be permitted to receive a second book for his or her own use till the one previously taken has been returned. 5. It shall be the duty of any person injuring or losing a book to make good the damage before receiving another. 6. Books must be asked for by their numbers and not be handled on shelves except by permission of the librarian."
