The Pennsylvania hermit : a narrative of the extraordinary life of Amos Wilson, who expired in a cave, in the neighborhood of Harrisburgh, Pennsylvania, after having therein lived in solitary retirement for nineteen years, in consequence of the ignominious death of his sister : annexed is the writings of Wilson while a recluse and his reasons for preferring a state of solitude to that of the society of his fellow-beings.
