An exposition of the unequal, unjust and oppressive operation of the present tariff system : in relation to iron, wool, hemp, paper, and the manufactures thereof : compiled in obedience to instructions from the Select Committee, appointed by the Free Trade Convention, to prepare a memorial to Congress, from documentary and other evidence furnished for the use of the Committee, by intelligent practical men engaged in these various branches of business.
