John Balfour and Co. their sale catalogue, for the year M,DCC,LXXX : Being a very large collection of books, about ten thousand volumes, in all the different branches of literature; particularly a very large assortment of the best French authors; which begin [sic] to be sold at their shop on the High-Street, for ready money, (the lowest price being printed at each article), on Wednesday the 19th January, and to continue on sale for four months. The books are put remarkably cheaper than usual, are generally in fine condition, and the best editions. Commissions from gentlemen in the country will be very carefully executed, and the books ordered will be immediately forwarded by the first opportunity; and the sooner any person gives a commission, they will the more readily get the books they want. Catalogues are delivered gratis.
