The day of trouble near, the tokens of it, and a due preparation for it : in three sermons on Ezekiel vii. 7. The first of which was preached on the Lord's Day, October 29, 1727. Which was the day immediately preceding the late earthquake: The other two were prepared for, and one of them was preached on a day of public fasting and prayer, Nov. 16. and the other on Lord's Day Nov. 19. To which is added, a sermon on Deuteronomy V. 29. Preached the Wednesday after that awakening providence; and an Appendix, giving some of account of the earthquake, as it was in Hampton, and something remarkable of thunder and lightning in that town, in the year 1727.
