Abstract Ford is Michael Blake, a former paratrooper who returns to France to find himself-and a medieval gauntlet that a Nazi art dealer had stolen from a village church. Suddenly, Blake finds a dead body in his Paris hotel room and both the art dealer and the police are after him. He flees with his girlfriend to the south of France and into a web of intrigue.
