Includes the prize-winning contribution by Charles Sprague and similar "prize poems" written by Boston authors for various openings of dramatic theaters in Boston, New York, Philadelphia and New Orleans, along with a selection of related dramatic prologues and odes by eighteenth and nineteenth century British writers.
