Abstract Tacitum marshal-turned-bounty hunter Morg Hickman rides into a small town where new sheriff Ben Owens is the sole representative of the law. Sensing that the boy could use some seasoning, Hickman makes it his mission to teach the sheriff how to protect himself against the criminal element. The older Hickman and the younger Owens find they are kindred spirits in their dedication. Using the lessons learned, Owens proves his worth by taking on the town hothead.
