General note"Printed on writing paper. Most of the space is given to staff lines intended to be filled out by written notes. Provision is made for choruses of four voices, in some pieces for six and even seven voices. The text over the staff consists partly of hymns, partly of adaptations from Solomon's Song and the Revelation of St. John. Altogether there are 49 pieces, 20 of which are also found among the hymns of the later Wunderspiel of 1766. The 'Friedsame' on the title page is Conrad Beissel who was called in the cloister, Vater Friedsam Gottrecht." --Seidensticker, O. German printing, p. 42.
