Philadelphia, January 5th, 1787 : Sir, The subscriber should think himself wanting in gratitude to his kind customers, and undeserving of their future favour, if he should neglect to return them his most humble and unfeigned thanks for the spirit and encouragement they have uniformly shewn him in promoting his success in printing of a news-paper, in the winter of 1785.
