General noteConvention of the Federal Party resolving "as the attainment of peace, by a change of men now in the administration, or some of them, is of such vast moment to the people of New-Jersey, this convention, on that account doth recommend to the friends of peace in each county to convene at some suitable time and place, and appoint two delegates to meet other delegates on Tuesday, the 11th day of August next at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, at Trenton, for the purpose of agreeing on fit persons to be nominated as electors of president and vice-president ..."
