General note"The Newport imprint is supplied by Evans, but, although both Hammet and Winship also ascribe the work to Newport, it is possible that the pamphlet may have been printed in New York or elsewhere. Evans gives the collation as 32 p., but the Army Medical Library copy with 28 p. is apparently complete. That copy contains, following p. 28, three pages of manuscript additions which perhaps account for Evans' description."--Alden, J.E. Rhode Island imprints 1727-1800, New York, 1949, p. 95.
General noteManuscript additions throughout the text and on 3 blank pages at end.
