| Summary | We have created two new spectral irradiance data sets to update two standards that were proposed to the American Society for Test and Materials (ASTM). These data were generated using a new extraterrestrial spectrum and a Rayleigh scattering calculation that is expected to be more accurate than previous results. These data are useful as a basis for comparing the performance of solar products and can be used for absorptance, reflectance, transmittance, and response evaluations of various devices and materials. |
