Summary We have created two new spectral irradiance data sets to update two standards that were proposed to the American Society for Test and Materials (ASTM). These data were generated using a new extraterrestrial spectrum and a Rayleigh scattering calculation that is expected to be more accurate than previous results. These data are useful as a basis for comparing the performance of solar products and can be used for absorptance, reflectance, transmittance, and response evaluations of various devices and materials.
