| General note | In 1932, two factions of the Association came to disagreement and a split occurred. Some of the churches remained, including: Flat Creek, Pine, Sandy Creek, Salisbury, Cotton Creek, and Mt. Tabor. Some churches went back and forth between the 2 associations. Both associations maintained the same name and can best be identified by their moderators. The first moderator of the original Abbott's Creek was D.P. Broadway. |
