Abstract The White House Initiative on American Indian and Alaska Native Education, established by the Executive Order signed by President Obama, committed the Federal Government to working closely with tribal governments to close the achievement gap between Indian students and non-Indian students. This official website provides information to support American Indian and Native Alaskans' efforts to maintain and revitalize their languages and cultures, and to improve educational opportunities and student outcomes through consultation reports and online webinar documents.
