The whole copied after the original charts, dressed for the use of the Imperial Court by the Jesuit missionaries on their expedition for surveying the country during the years 1752 to 1756. Executed upon the express requisition of the then reigning emperor.' Comprises 20 maps of Chinese provinces, each preceded by a key, and a brief description covering the province's economy, geography and politics.
