| Abstract | In most places, the sale of human organs is prohibited. In Pakistan, it is not illegal, but very controversial. Jim, who needs a kidney transplant and has run out of options in Denmark, travels to Pakistan to get a new kidney. Jim's outcome is good, but that is not always the case for the donors, who receive payment but no post-operative care. |
