Abstract Takes the therapist through systematic observations of the components of fine motor skills which underlie dexterous hand function. Included are items to observe forearm and wrist stablization and isolation of the radial side of the hand for precision movements. These observational components are evaluated for detecting hand dysfunction in the primary age child. A special section analyzing dysfunctional hand components is included.
