Abstract The (5) presentations from the pre-conference at the 2009 ACSM Health & Fitness Summit provide a broad perspective of women's health across the lifespan, with in-depth information about each age range. Initially, the DVD features a discussion of how vitamin D impacts children and adolescent girls. Next, the DVD addresses common injuries in the collegiate-level female athlete. Then, the DVD reviews the impact of childbearing issues related to public health, including pregnancy, labor/delivery, and aging. Finally, the DVD looks at how physical activity has a positive influence on the health of older women.
