Abstract Teaching Otoscope and Ophthalmoscope Techniques presents an introductory overview of how and why athletic trainers should be able to use both the otoscope and the ophthalmoscope. The DVD is designed to assist athletic trainers who may be called on to evaluate an athlete's eyes and ears and to report their findings to their team physician. The DVD also details common characteristics that distinguish the appearance of specific eye- and ear-related conditions, including otitis externa, otitis media, ear effusions, conjunctivitis, hyphema, and detached retina.
