Abstract Health Promotion, Nutrition, and Injury Prevention in the Female Runner provides an overview of several of the key factors involved in the health of women runners. The video features a review of the basic research on the bone, psychological, and cardiovascular health of women runners. The video also looks at the preliminary data from an investigation of recreational runners that is currently being conducted at Ohio State. In addition, the video looks at how runners can best be fueled for health and life balance.
