General note"This report presents an approach to analyzing data from a survey with a complex sample design. The data used to illustrate the approach are from the first National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, a national probability sample survey that was conducted in 1971-74 with an augmentation survey in 1974-75. Data are examined using regression techniques, analysis of variance, and categorical data analysis."
