The vanity and mischeife of the old letany. Or A further answer of John Bastwick, Doctor of Physick, to some other exceptions made against his Letany by a learned gentleman : annexed unto the Letany as more superadditionall articles against the prelats. In which there is a full demonstration of the fruitlessenes and impiety of the service-booke, with the hurt and mischeif that hath done, and dayly doth through the kingdome, to the infinit dishonor of God and the King, and endangering of this florishing kingdome and state. Also certaine sufficient reasons to prove the unprofitablenes and needlesnes both of the study and citation of Fathers in theologicall writings, and the reason of the corruption of the youth and scholars in both universities. This is to follow the Letany as a third part of it.
