The New yeares wonder : being a most cernaine and true relation of the disturbed inhabitants of Kenton : and other neighbouring villages neere unto Edge-Hil, where the great battaile betwixt the kings army, and the Parliaments forces was fought : in which plea is heard & seene fearfull and strange apparitions of spirits as sounds of drums, trumpets, with the discharging of canons muskies, carbines pettronels, to the terrour and amazement, of all the fearfull hearers and behoulders : certified under the hands of William Wood, Esquier, and Iustice for the peace in the said countie, Samuel Marshall, preacher of Gods word in Keynton, and other persons of qualitie.
