A true relation of a very strange and wonderful thing that was heard in the air, October the twelfth, by many hundreds of people. : Namely, three cannons shot off, a peal of musquets followed, and drums beating all the while; which was about the space of a quarter of an hour: to the great amazement of the hearers. Besides many others place in the north, this strange wonder was heard at Houldon, Heddon, Patrington, Ottringham, about York and Hull, and in Lincolnshire.
