Abstract Broadcast executive Ronald H. Brewington was born on November 2, 1946, in Harlem, New York. He attended PS5, St. Charles Borrmeo and St. Thomas the Apostle schools. In 1964, after graduating from Aviation High School, he joined the United States Navy. Brewington became the director of Navy Broadcasting Service Detachments at several bases. He earned his B.A. degree in broadcast journalism from California State University, Long Beach, and his M.A. degree from Harrington University, in London, England. Starting at KRIS-TV in Corpus Christi, Texas, Brewington has served as Los Angeles bureau chief for American Urban Radio Networks and worked as a news/entertainment stringer for Associated Press Radio Network and Los Angeles correspondent to Chatbusters News Service.
