520 a| Baseball player Henry "Hank" Presswood was born on October 7, 1921 in Electric Mills, Mississippi, an unincorporated town established in 1913, named after its modern electrically powered mill; one of the first mills to be completely electric-powered. From 1948 to 1952 Presswood played shortstop and third baseman in the Negro Baseball Leagues, beginning his career as the Negro Leagues began their decline. During his time in the Negro Leagues, Presswood starred for both the Cleveland Buckeyes and two years after leaving the Buckeyes, he played with the Kansas City Monarchs as a third basemen, but the Negro American League was then a minor league. After leaving professional baseball, Presswood went to work at Inland Steel in East Chicago, Indiana, where he played fast-pitch softball. He won several trophies and a good sportsmanship award. Presswood retired from Inland Steel after more than thirty years of employment. Presswood passed away on December 27, 2014, at the age of 93.;
