520 a| Journalist Condace Pressley was born in 1964, in Marietta, Georgia. She graduated from Marietta High School in 1982. She then attended the University of Georgia where she worked at the college radio station. She graduated magna cum laude and received her B.A. degree in journalism in 1986. Pressley was hired at Cox Media Group as a reporter/anchor in 1986; and in 1999, became assistant program director, where she worked on stations AM750 and WSB. In 2012, Pressley became the general manager for WSB-AM, where she delivered the station's best-ever ratings. She was also host of her own show, Perspectives. In 2001, she was elected president of the National Association of Black Journalists, and became director of the Radio Television News Directors Association. Pressley has published in the Nieman Reports, the Federal Communications Law Journal, and The Atlanta Daily Journal, and served as a guest on CNN and C-SPAN.;
