After moving to New York City in 1953, Reese recorded several albums, earning her first hit with "And That Reminds Me (Of You)." Shortly thereafter, she recorded her biggest hit, Don't You Know? Her success led to numerous television and film engagements, including multiple appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show. By 1969, Reese was hosting her own talk show, Della.
