Abstract Pharmacist Regina Jollivette Frazier was born on September 30, 1943 in Miami, Florida. She attended Dunbar Elementary School and later graduated as valedictorian from Northwestern High School in Miami, Florida in 1961. She went on to receive her B.S. degree in pharmacy from Howard University in Washington, D.C. in 1966 and her M.B.A degree from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida in 1983. Frazier worked as a pharmacist in Washington D.C. before relocating to Miami, Florida in 1970 for a job as a senior pharmacist at the University of Miami Hospitals and Clinics, also joining the Miami Chapter of the Links, Inc. She was promoted to director of pharmacy in 1973. In 1986, Frazier was elected as the national president of the Links, Inc. She retired from the University of Miami Hospitals and Clinics in 2007, but continued to remain involved in her community.
