Abstract "This is a study on how the culture and practices of large corporate law-firms and lawyers have responded to the contemporary competitive market for legal services. Focusing on the period since 2008, when the Great Recession caused a precipitous decline in big-firm revenues, Mitt Regan and Lisa Rohrer look at how big firms have changed the way they practice law through a series of interviews with over 250 partners and associates at big law firms. The authors center their research on the large law firm because the influence of so-called "BigLaw" is felt throughout the industry"-- Provided by publisher.
