Abstract Video-assisted major pulmonary resections are gaining popularity, as it becomes obvious that minimally invasive surgery is beneficial in terms of reduced postoperative pain, shorted hospital stay, shorter recovery and better compliance to adjuvant chemotherapy, without compromising oncological principles.
