Summary Log of the brig PRINCE EUGENE kept by shipmaster Silas Tobey from 1816-1817 while on a trading voyage from New Bern, North Carolina to Saint-Pierre, Martinique and Guadeloupe. Captain Tobey died at Gaudeloupe on 31 January 1817, according to notes written by his grandson on the cover of the volume.
