Includes bills, receipts, and cargo lists related to prizes received, divided, and sold by the REVENGE for the capture or recapture of various ships, including the sloop CLARO AND THE THREE BROTHERS. Also, a journal of the transactions on the Revenge on a cruising voyage against the Spaniards, with an account of provisions and people on board, June 5-October 5, 1741 written by Norton's unidentified quartermaster; the commission of the Revenge to engage in privateering against Spain, signed by Richard Ward; and a waste book (1788-1801) of accounts on the farm of Joseph Andrews of Hingham, Mass.
