Summary Log and narrative kept aboard the smack BUENOS AYRES, a coasting vessel commanded by Boston shipmaster Robert S. Pulsifer in Argentina. The log dates 4 September-31 December 1828, and commences when the vessel is in the river Salado, thence to Patagonia, the port of Rio Negro, and finally to BUENOS AYRES. The vessel took on various goods for trade including leather, tea, copper, paint, and turpentine.
