Summary Whalebone busk engraved with marine scene; island with town and ships in harbor at center, lighthouse atop hill. Island flanked by pair of full-rigged ships (one with US flag), topsail schooner at left. Lighthouse on point of land at extreme left of scene. On reverse is two-masted schooner below which is marine scene; town and harbor at right, lighthouse on point of land at center. Sloop and bark in harbor, schooner and full-rigged ship at left. Church, mansion and other structures in town. Busk is rounded at bottom, 2 lobes at top.
