| Summary | This study focuses on the development of an on-the-job training program for the temporary instrumentation technical writer position at Burroughs Wellcome Company. The study reviews current issues in training temporary employees and current methods of developing on-the-job training programs. The training program developed was conducted for two entering workers. An evaluation of the effectiveness of the program was conducted. The findings were that the on-the-job training program was beneficial in training instrumentation technical writers. |
