The book concludes that three sons of George Brewer of Brunswick County, Howell I, Lanier I, and John, (and their descendants) lived in Moore, Chatham, and Randolph Counties between 1750 and 1850. The book also examines in detail the lines of four other probable sons of George Brewer: Henry, Oliver, Nathaniel, and Nicholas, who settled in the Haw and New Hope River regions of north central Chatham County.
