| Abstract | "Optical coherence tomography (OCT) continues to grow and expand its reach within ophthalmology. OCT is now widely available and has become a prerequisite part of the comprehensive ophthalmic exam, especially in retina. Although a relatively recent technology, OCT findings have now become critical to making certain diagnoses. Alterations in each layer of the retina differentiate between pathologies and explain visual changes. The second edition of the Atlas of Retinal OCT is a continuation of the first edition with the addition of new pathologies and OCT angiography where applicable. This atlas is meant to serve as a reference for a breadth of retinal conditions--from those seen in everyday practice to more rare and unique pathologies. Each condition is illustrated with numerous, large, high-quality OCT images to highlight disease pathology and aid in disease identification. Additional imaging modalities, such as fundus photographs and fluorescein angiograms, are included to supplement OCT images where appropriate. Atlas of Retinal OCT provides the reader with a high-quality, easy-to-follow visual aid to help incorporate OCT scans into the evaluation and care of your patients.
